The North Alabama Railroad Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. We are often contacted by other non-profit agencies requesting that we donate train ride tickets or other items to support their cause. While we appreciate their efforts and very deserving causes, we feel that it is counter-productive to our agency to give away our tickets in this manner. We would encourage agencies to seek corporate sponsors, etc. to purchase tickets to excursions if a giveaway is desired. We have and will continue to give away tickets ourselves, as a promotion for a particular excursion, etc. We wish all the best to other non-profits and admire their causes; however, it is our museum policy that we do not provide free tickets or other items to outside agencies.
Please, when you visit, do not walk on top of the rails and do not climb on the equipment. Rails are very slippery and can cause a very nasty fall. We want your visit to the museum to be safe and enjoyable.
